Thank you for checking out the very first issue of WDSN—we're thrilled to kick off this exciting new journey with you!

As dancers, teachers, officials, and organizers, we’re all prone to setting ambitious goals for the New Year. For many of you, that might mean breaking into the Finals, winning that shiny, sparkly trophy (or just not tripping over your own feet). Some of you might be chasing that elusive “perfect partner,” building a top-tier studio, coaching more, judging more, or maybe… just working less (because who doesn’t love a little more dance and a little less work?).

Whatever your goals or dreams for 2025, remember:

Goals Can Be Achieved, and Dreams Can Come True! 💫 (And if they involve a lot of sequins and glitter, we fully support that!)

Dance is a gift that keeps on giving, like that one song you just can’t get out of your head—except this time, it’s a good thing. So, enjoy the journey, even if that journey involves perfecting that one move that always seems to trip you up (we’ve all been there!).

Join us each issue for the latest and greatest from the dance world. We’ll share knowledge, tips, and of course, a whole lot of excitement as we continue to celebrate the sport and art we love so much.

Our Mission Statement

At the World DanceSport Network, we’re here to entertain, inspire, and guide you! Our goal is to bring you content that helps you improve your dance skills, enhance your health and wellness, and maybe even make you laugh a little. Most importantly, WDSN will serve as a global platform for dancers to connect and celebrate what we all have in common—our love of dance. And, hey, if it happens to include some fabulous costume tips along the way, even better.
