Just returned from the New York Dance Festival at the Hilton in Midtown Manhattan!

As you can see from my photo, as the Emcee, I truly have the best seat in the house! My gear is all set: a personal mic (no germ sharing), a portable light to brighten up the pages, my trusty pen (which usually lasts about 30 minutes before I have to hunt for my next "trusty" pen), and, of course, my cup of coffee and a variety of breath mints, generously donated by the Chairman and fellow Emcees!

The ballroom (as you can see) is small but beautiful, with the feeling of being inside a fancy Tiffany box.

Even though the room was on the smaller side, it never felt crowded or cramped for the thousands of dancers who attended. There was never that empty feeling that sometimes happens in larger halls or ballrooms.

NEVER A DULL MOMENT IN NYC!

If you're looking to explore Manhattan during your break, there’s no better location than the Hilton. Everything is within walking distance: Central Park, The Metropolitan Museum, Rockefeller Center, Radio City, and Times Square are just a few of the many attractions with easy access. And after all that walking, there’s the best falafel food truck right outside the hotel.

Congratulations to the organizers, Eugene Katzevman and Maria Manusova, for their incredible work in producing and organizing such a fantastic event!
